Strength-Focused Sessions

Master your inner goddess.

The ancient Greek Goddesses were famous for their vigorous and vibrant strength, their power, their grace and their physical elegance.

Led by Russian Kettlebell Certified Instructor, Mackenzie Phillips, you will receive first-class personal instruction on how to wield the power of the Kettlebell for everyday grace and grit. Each session will include a proper warm-up and cool down which are guaranteed to reward you with greater energy, greater well being and greater strength.

This workout is tailored for all levels.

Cardio-Focused Sessions

Master your cardiovascular endurance.

With a groove-worthy playlist, learn to jump rope again with Rachel Jablow of Get Roped™️, a method that incorporates strength and conditioning through interval training, using only a jump rope.

You might be saying to yourself, “I can’t jump rope.” Well, we have a gal for that! Rachel will provide tried and true tips for getting back on the jump rope wagon with a challenging, yet encouraging energy. Each session will include a proper warm-up and cool down leveraging the simplicity of the jump rope.

Yoga & Meditation Sessions

Master your mind and spirit.

Led by Inger Burnett-Zeigler of BecomingOne Wellness and Mackenzie Phillips, yoga sessions will focus on deepening the mind-body connection. The core of the yoga classes will be vinyasa-style yoga, focusing on alignment and moving in sync with your breath.

Meditation will also be lead by Inger and Mackenzie with a focus on mindfulness and compassionate self-care.

This workout is tailored for all levels.

Master your woosah.

Grab your Wander Women gal pals for our healthy cocktail reception and retail therapy extravaganza hosted by Paige Fessenden from LuxeWagon. Paige loves empowering women to feel their best while having a great shopping experience! She’s worked in fashion retail for 22 years and brings designers from Paris, New York, Chicago and LA into her own mobile boutique. She takes great pleasure scouring the markets to find the best clothes and accessories with a solid back story behind them so the customer can feel great about her purchase.

ABOUT OUR WANDER WOMEN INSTRUCTORS

Mackenzie Phillips, MAEVE40 Fitness™️  Growing up as a classically trained musician and dancer, Mackenzie has learned in the truest sense that life doesn't have to be"either/or"; it can be be "both/and." Mackenzie is a corporate lawyer practicing law focusing on securities & corporate governance for a Fortune 500 company. Mackenzie decided to become a NASM-CPT to start her own health, lifestyle and fitness brand, MAEVE40 Fitness. From fitness to food to fashion and everything in between, Mackenzie is the ultimate tastemaker and dedicated to being the best she can be. She is a wonderful combination of glamour and grit; as she works hard, plays harder, and devotes significant time to the people and the causes she believes in. Mackenzie has passion. She is different. She is not living this life to be mediocre.  Mackenzie currently coaches in the Chicagoland area at various fitness studios and gyms, and provides personal training and small group classes. Mackenzie is a NASM certified personal trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, RKC I certified Kettlebell Instructor and Spartan race coach. Mackenzie is CPR/AED certified.  Mackenzie is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School.

Rachel Jablow, Get Roped™️  Rachel is a former competitive figure skater with a life-long love of fitness. While living in NYC, she worked for 15 years in the financial industry on a fixed income trading desk but felt her work lacked the passion she felt when she was active and training. Rachel has enjoyed training through a variety of modalities from running, swimming, biking, strength training, yoga, pilates, dance...you name it. However, her love of jump rope training led her to found Get Roped™️, a method that incorporates strength and conditioning through interval training, using only a jump rope. With a groove-worthy playlist, Rachel brings a challenging, yet fun and encouraging energy to all her clients and classes. Rachel currently teaches Get Roped™️ classes at several fitness studios and gyms in the city of Chicago and provides independent personal training. Prior to moving to Chicago, Rachel was a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at New York Sports Clubs in New York City. Rachel is a NASM certified personal trainer with specialization in jump rope training, strength & conditioning, HIIT and Power Plate. Rachel is CPR/AED certified.

She is also a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences,Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Cornell University and doctorate degree in clinical psychology at Northwestern University. She received her professional education in mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness and completed the 250 hour yoga teacher training program at Tejas Yoga. Inger promotes mental and physical health through mindfulness and compassionate self-care. She has over 15 years of experience in mind and body health approaches. Inger believes that physiologically based practices provide key tools for dealing with the challenges in the mind and everyday life.

About the Marina Grand Resort

The Marina Grand Resort is a full-service waterfront resort on the New Buffalo harbor.
